How different are Crystal Reports 11 and 13?

I am going to be taking some online classes for Crystal Reports. I found a free course on Crystal Reports 11, but I currently use 13. If I were to take this class, would it help me more than hinder me in understanding this program?

As well, where would you suggest the best place to learn CR13 online? I've found Lynda and heard good and bad reviews. If I hear nothing back, I'll be going with them.

Hi Jordan,

The basics of the report designer are the same.  Somethings are slightly different but if you want to learn how to group, filter and use formulas then there is very little that is different.

13 has some newer features but everything in Crystal 11 is still relevant in 13.

As for courses, Lynda.com is pretty good.  I haven't tried the course at PluralSight.com but they are also a pretty good online learning site.

Thanks,

Brian

CR 11 does not support new Operating Systems (e.g.; WIn 7 and higher) or databases.(e.g.; MS SQL 2012, etc.).
