How can I find the status of cr 634454?

When looking for a fix for issue descibed in 2096784, there was a reference to CR 634454.

I'm not sure how to find the status of CRs in general or how to monitor them. But according 1904061, I should ask for the status of this CR here in the forum.

Can someone help?

Hello Matthias,

As mentioned Tilman, there is no expected fix so far. The CR analysis done by development determined that the reorg rebuild issue was a side-effect of a previously existent index corruption. So the main action should be taken against the corrupted index: drop and recreate it. Since the issue was reported years ago there was no much information to go further for a fix.

Thanks for your feedback. The KBA will be updated.

Best regards,
Victoria.

I think this CR never got fixed up to now - at least that's what the KBA says.

I am not aware of any direct way to query status of a given SAP ASE CR number - but usually a KBA should state the version where a CR is fixed. Alternatively you can try and search KBAs such as

2075653 - Targeted ASE 16.0 Release Schedule and CR list Information - SAP ASE

whether you find the CR in the referenced KBAs somewhere.

With all due respect to SAP folks

As feedback then -- with best OLTP and in memory databases -- SAP needs to have a simple two column table/spreadsheet somewhere to match CR # and ASE (or server version) in/beyond which it is fixed or if it is yet to be fixed.

I am sure SAP engineering has this information, sad that it is not available to SAP community to find in a friendly and easy way !

Thanks Victoria.

Helps us all to know the links now.

Curious to know the reason why it is on a "wiki" (i.e. comunity maintained ) rather than on an official SAP location ?

Thanks again
