Hi,

regarding webi 4.0 refer to following notes :

1711416 - BI 4.0: How to enable MDA tracing for OLAP-based universes

1586166 - How to enable tracing for BI4.0 client applications

Note 1711416 explicitly mentions that this procedure has changed since XI 3.1

In case you can see the logs but are not able to find the MDX statement: Try again later.

I have just tested this and in my case the mdx statement was only captured after a while and closing webi and changing the report, not completely sure if this happens because of caching activities.

You can also try to capture the mdx statement from within BW (RSTT transaction) as described in following presentation:

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-13062

The presentation was made for XI 3.1, but the steps for capturing the mdx statement from within BW did not change in BO 4.0, I have double check this and have already captured an mdx statement there in RSTT for BO 4.0.

Note: All this is regarding Webi on top of UNV universe on top of BEx query.

Hi Kevin,

Please refer to the SAP Article below, normally the same steps should be followed in BI4:

Hi Kevin,

It's related to Windows not to BI Version, so normally you have to follow the same steps for BI4.
