Hostname unknown error

I am accessing an AWS instance for the CAL solution "openSAP: Text Analytics with SAP HANA platform".

However, when I try to enter the A4H system via the remote desktop, either using the SAP GUI or Eclipse, I receive the error "hostname 'vhcala4hci' unknown". Screenshots attached for your reference.

Hello,

I would recommend to check the overall status of your ABAP system including the DB status. To do so connect to the OS and execute the commands below.

su - a4hadm

sapcontrol -nr 00 -function GetProcessList

If this is a fresh system and the status is not OK, the fastest solution would be to create a new instance.
