BH Hi, Hi, we've purchased "SQL Anywhere Standard 5 User 16.0 Windows 32/64-bit" and "SQL Anywhere Networked Seat 16.0 Windows 32/64-bit" because we need 15 users, and high availability option. So i got two license keys, and one installation file. I'm trying to add the second license key (during the installation) under the "Install Add-Ons" and it tells me that the registration key is invalid. Then when i try to run the high availability featre, it tells me that the feature it tells me "High availability feature not licensed." What am i doing wrong? Thanks Aron
In my experience it never worked to add Network Seat licenses as "Add-Ons", they were always rejected (though with version 16 I've never tried that). The licence for the Standard Edition should include HA with no need for additional licences. For network seats I always use DBLIC to add them.
IMHO you should try to re-apply the key for the Standard Edition with
dblic -k "licence key" dbsrv16.lic
and apply the additional seats with
dblic -l perseat -u 15 dbsrv16.lic "username" "company"

I think you will need to talk to your sales representative to check your second license key - if the install says the key is invalid then it is not being accepted... and if it is not accepted then it won't be adding the High Availability option to your install (assuming the second key was for the HA option).
