Hierarchy filter in BW 7.3

Hi Experts,

We have upgraded to BW 7.3 recently. After upgrade we got to know whenever we use filter on Hierarchy Node in Bex query it is failing. Even we are not able to use it in WEBI or any external tool. If i remove Hierarchy filter all issues get resolved.

This issue is also coming when i add filter after report output comes.

Does this functionality is not working in BW 7.3? Do we need to apply any fix for same?

Ganesh,

were you able to resolve this issue? We are facing similar issue.

It seems that query is trying get all data for a given hierarchy before applying other filter.

Hi Anil,

Sorry but i moved to another system. Issue got resolved by applying a note which was suggested by SAP and not sure as i don't have any backup of mails and communication happened in my last project
