Hierarchy Expansion at the root node

I have a report result with hierachy and I want to fully expand to the document level at one single expansion click on the top node....what do i do?Please help.

Start off as display level 1. User can then right click, select expand hierarchy and level to which it should be expanded.

If you want to start of the display at doc. level, then in the properties for the characteristic, select start display level and put in 99 or some high value.

hello Aneesh,

I am facing a similar situation, but the above settings really didnt help.The expansion does not happen after level 5 even if i select my expansion request to level 7 in my web report.meaining i have to go and manually expand 6 and 7 which is the last level of the top node (total cost element).please help.
