Hi,
Check below
If there are characteristic values that do not appear in the hierarchy, a Not Assigned node is added to the hierarchy by default. If you set this indicator, no Not Assigned node is created for the hierarchy

Hi Radha,
While creating a hierarchy, if all the available values are not assigned to any of the nodes in the hierarchy, then they will be categorized as Not Assigned.
So either you can modify the hierarchy manually and assign the values to some nodes in hierarchy or you can hide the values as suggested by Navesh.

Hi,
Generally If there are characteristic values that do not appear in the hierarchy, a Not Assigned node is added to the hierarchy by default.If you do not want to see un assigned nodes in the query following steps need to be performed.
Step 1 :- GOTO RSH1 -> Give Hierarchy name.
Step 2 :- Double click on hierarchy and click Hierarchy Attributes button in Edit mode.
Step 3 :- Goto Display Hierarchy parameters for hierarchy display in query and Select Suppress Not Assigned Nodes .
