Hi,

I am creating a new theme for a new set of users who are migrating to EP6 and one of their requirement is to hide the second level navigation and show everything in the top level navigation.

How do I achieve this?

Thanks!

Kumar,

to hide second level navigation do the following two steps

1) Go to the "Default Framework Page" --> open it

select TopLevelNavigation -->properties

change the valuel of "Number of displayed layers" to 1.

save this

2) select the "Desktop Inner Page" and open it

select "Detailed Navigation" --> properties

change the "start level No" property to 2.

Hi Sanchai,

In the link I have provided all THREE steps are listed, whereas the second answer missed the third step, configuring the content area (which is needed for navigation purposes from within the content area).

Be sure also to set this third parameter!

Hope it helps

Hi,

In my case, the settings for the ToplevelNavigation, No.of display levels has been set to 2, For DLN, the Start property is set to 3.

Which means, I could see the TLN, SLN appropriately.

I know that, this setting done would be applicable to all the users of Portal.

But the strange thing I am facing is that, only for one particular User, after logging in , I could not find the Second level Navigation.

Is there any setting that need to be done on Personalize option for that user to get the SLN?

Can anyone help me here.

Thanks

Yogesh
