In general SAP has provided archiving objects for the most common largest , fastest growing tables across various modules.
Apart from this there are also programs that delete data directly out of tables
ex: delete old actions from table PPFTTRIGG, you can use report RSPPFCLEAN.
recommended approach: Refer to the data management guide if these tables are mentioned .
if not check for any OSS notes with the table name , that refer to volume reduction - is no information
