Help - Error during activation of Calculative View?

Hi All,

We are trying to activate a CV but it starts giving error message like below

Has anyone seen this error before? Kindly help!

Message : Repository: Encountered an error in repository runtime extension;Model inconsistency. Create Scenario failed: The following errors occurred: Internal error during pre-instantiation (34012)

This kind of error can occur for example:

1. Underlying Calculation view changed (e.g. renamed columns)
2. Column names (which are renamed / removed) are used in calculated columns
   This is not deteced by the compiler / syntax checker and results in this error:
   Encountered an error in repository runtime extension;Model inconsistency. Create Scenario failed: The following errors occurred: Internal error during pre-instantiation (34012)

Work-around (Hopefully SAP will improve the error message):

1. Go in HANA-Studio (Eclipse with SAP plug-in)
2. View Repositories
3. Right-click on the calculation view then "Show in History"
4. Right-click on the active version and select "Checkout and Rebase to Active"
5. Then continue working on this version
