Hi
The creation of Group GL account in MDG says that we need to create GL account as well as FSI Item with same number otherwise while creation of GL Account no input value is displayed in Group GL account. Means two process for Group account
But in ECC there is no need for creation og FSI item only creation of GL is suffient. Mean only one process for single Group account
I know data elements for both are diferent but any way to make procedure as per ECC only
Hi Sanjay,
it's recommended to use the standard approach. A best practise would be:
During initial load:
1. Load group accounts from SKA1 and SKAT into MDG's FSI entity.
2. Load accounts with group accounts from SKA1 and SKAT into MDG's ACCOUNT entity
During maintenance in MDG:
1. Create first a new group account if requires as MDG FSI.
2. Create or change an account using the MDG FSI entities as group account.
We're currently working on a better standard integration for these use cases.
Best regards
Michael

That would be really helpful if we avoid FSI. In my case, the users were not at all ready to use both FSI and ACCOUNT entity. I know you rarely create the group accounts not more than 10-20 in the year. But still there was resistant.
Finally created a program to copy the FSI as group account. But I know this is not the best solution.
I have a solution for this and will share it with you too, May be later on you can try.
