GRDC Enter Document Type Total - wrong delta

In the pre delivered content, in the folder “Actual Reported data” > “S0-I10 Balance Sheet Accounts Detailed by Transaction Types”, there is the input form “S0I1100 Financial Assets”

The input form “S0I1100 Financial Assets” was copied, and the document type 00 is set like read document type and, the document type 03 is set like write document type.

The input form calculated the delta properly like described in the following SAP help portal web page https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_Group_Reporting_Data_Collection/64dc0138def94c6696ee1ed4701d53f7/85ce4...

Some consolidation units upload the data in the document type 0C (posting level 00) via GRDC so, the read document type in the input form “S0I1100 Financial Assets” for these consolidation unit was changed from 00 to 0C. In this case the system doesn’t’ calculate the delta properly.

Example

Mov900915Tot
Amount  100£      200£      300£

If the user input 100£ under the movement 915 and clicks the button save, after the save the system will show

Mov900915Tot
Amount100£300£400£

Could you check that the data loaded on PL0C did not contain additional field values. You should not use any fields on important document types (defined as read doc types) that are not part of the forms structure. I.e. if the forms contains data where in the data base more fields are used then available in the forms structure it is only suitable for displaying data, not changing data.

The symptom that you describe typically results from such "incompatible" form layouts. Note that there is currently the restriction in the forms that it needs to contain all fields that are used in the data read (from any read doc types).

This restriction is planned to be removed with this roadmap innovation.

Hi Florian, thanks a lot for your comment. I understood that the write intersection of the input form should be the same of the read intersection. When I uploaded the data also the dimension CO Area was populated. I add as dimension in the filter of the input form the dimension CO AREA and it works now
