GOS ( Generic Object Services ) ability for IS-Oil excise Licenses

Hello,

Is it possible to activate generic Object Services (GOS) for IS-Oil-TDP excise Licenses?

Checking the business object repository doesn't include any business object corresponding to IS-Oil-TDP excise license.

1. Determine SAP Table Names (& FIelds) related to Oil & Gas export license (SAP Tcode: SE16, SE17, etc.)

NPA_PAR_OBJNR Reference PAR to Generic Object Number

OIH4 is a standard SAP Table used to store Excise duty tax status (IS-Oil TDP standard/core object) data available within R/3 SAP systems depending on version and release level.

2. Determine SAP Business Object Type(s) related to Oil & Gas Export License

SAP Business Object Builder (SAP Transaction Code: SWO1) (ref.: screenshot below)

Object Type: enter * to find list of all business objects in your system

Application: Dropdown list> choose Applications relating to Oil & Gas export license

3. Only if no similar object exists, create new custom business object, by copying from similar business object

4. Link Generic Object Services (GOS) Documents in SAP via Object Services

Two Ways to Store Generic Object Service documents via Object Services

a. Generic Object Services (GOS documents)

b. BDS documents

Generic Object Services (GOS documents) links documents with business objects. Documents stored on ArchiveLink server.

Store document: Open menu, select: Create→Create Asset

Select/click document to be uploaded, to open (document stays in system, whether business object is saved)

uploaded document is available in Asset List

open menu, click Asset List

double-click to open document
