Getting message BR0235W !!

Dear concerned,

I am not really able to understand as to why I am getting

this message though the number of usages in table SDBAH (57)

for the volume has not surpassed the count parameter set in initPRD.sap (100).

Besides,the dblog has also not expired for the last one year as no parameter has been set for the same.

What could be the reason ??

you must check the number of usage that is written on the tape itself:

brbackup -i show

this is the only valid value that can be used. do not refer to SDBAH as some old logs might have been deleted.

so, you have 2 possibilities:

1. throw the tape in the garbage

2. re-initialize it to reset the count (not recommended) with:

brbackup -i
