Generic Delta

Hi,

I have created a generic datasource on a transparent table CE1xxxx and set the generic delta update on a timestamp field. But this generic delta is not picking up any new or changed records. When I activated the datasouece I have set the TIMESTAMP as the delta field as well as the time interval of upper limit 1800 seconds and the lower limit blank. After I initialized, I can see the datasource name in RSA7 wiht zero LUWs and there was no data in it. Can someone tell me where the problem lie and how to solve it, and how the TIMESTAMP treated(recorded) in R/3 and in the generic delta. I appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Rao.

Hi Sabrina,

Our basis guys applied the following note:

Note: 808663

and that took care of the problem. I believe there is TIMESTAMP time descrepancy. In R/3, COPA records timestamp at 'ten-thousandth' of a second and where as the generic delta reads that timestamp at every 'second' level.
