Generic Delta

Dear Experts,

I have a generic datasource delta enabled using date.

Upper limit is 0 and lower limit is 1.

So, it should theoretically pull delta from yesterday to today.

I loaded delta via infopackage to the psa.

I loaded again the same delta infopackage and it brings the same number of records.

Now, there are 2 same loading in the psa exactly same records.

To load the delta to the master data attribute, what kind of DTP should be used?

I think its full load DTP and not a delta dtp since delta is already in the psa.

Please advise.

Thanks.

regards

Pascal

you need to use a delta dtp. a full dtp will load all psa request to target, a delta only those requests not yet transferred from psa to target. delta/full for a dtp is not the same as delta/full for infopackage.

you can find more info on the net

You should use delta DTP as it will load only new requests (which are not loaded to master data) from PSA to master data.

If you are deleting the requests from PSA, doing a full in that case is also fine as you will have only new request in PSA.
