Hello Friends,

I am getting error that is GEN_BRANCHOFFSET_LIMIT_REACHED

in the development server for my one BSP page but the same code is working in the test server. Please tell me what can be the difference in the setting of BASIS side or other so that I can recognise the main Cause.

Hi Kuldeep,

Here is one note.. <b>527464</b>. We had a similar problem and we ended up modularising our code into different Controllers/Views, instead of putting eveything thing to one Controller/View.

This Problem appears when the Size of the code of the SAP classes grows after applying support packages. Your both the syatems QA and DEV either might be at different support package level or size of the DB must be different.

To get rid of this problem you will have to divide your code into segments.

Cheers

Hello Amandeep,

Thankyou for giving me some hint to solve this problem. But here the problem is that the Same code was working properly before one week and now its not. So can you tell me where is the exact place where I can see the diference in the support package and the size of the DB that you have mentioned in the last message.

Please reply soon

Hi Kuldeep,

So see the Support Packages, from SAP Easy Access, go to

<b>System->Status</b>

on the popup window under <b>Component version</b> there is small icon like Glass. Click on that. When you click on the glass a new pop up window comes up which shows the Support package level your system is on.

for DB please contact your Basis Team.

I hope this helps.

Hello Amandeep,

Thanks for an another good hint. During analyzing I came to know that their is some difference in the Patch level of Kernel and the DBSL. I want to know that this is the only reason for this problem

Hello Tatvagna,

Thankyou for your reply. But still I am not getting the exact cause of the problem. I want to know about the BASIS settings which effects this.
