Hi All
Business need is to create a Datasource by creating a function module.
Can you please update me on the steps for this method? Also what should be the main watchpoints?

First you need to create Funtion mode using Tcode SE37.
In function module you define you code which extract data from diffent required tables and then Go to Tcode RS02 data source mainatance and you define the created function module.
