Fixing Delta Load to 0FI_GL_4

Hi, Iam performing delta loads to ODS 0FIGL_O02 from the Data Source 0FI_GL_4. Due to a mistake, the setting in the delta Infopack was left as Update till PSA for a week.

We realised the same and now we are trying to get the data but unfortunately the PSA has been deleted too. We have received the latest Delta today morning but it wont get activated as the sequence of Deltas is missing.

Now I want to recover the 1 week's data and I would like to know if data can be recovered if I perform the following:

Go to Monitor Screen of the Load that was loaded till PSA. Make the Total Status Red manually. Will the source system give me the Delta records again by doing the Total status Red?? If yes, then I would do to all the 1 week PSA loads and I can just re-trigger the load and recover the data.

Please advise immediately. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Thanks again for the response. I would like to know how the timestamp table can be changed and how data can be restored. Any ideas on that will help me a lot.

You have to write a little abap to update it or download the ABAP from OSS

Thanks for the response. Also Iam loading data from this ODS to 2 Cubes. All the keyfigures in the ODS had Overwrite as the update mode.

Now my question is will the system double the keyfigure value in the Cube as Cube has only additive and no update in its update rules?

I guess it will update only the records that are either new or modified from the change log table to the ODS.

Please correct if iam wrong.

Simple - change the timestamp table last_ts flag to the last timestamp that is valid and rerun a new delta infopackage - it will pick up all the changes and new records since the last valid timestamp

It;s documented somewhere in an OSS note - but that's basically the fix

The ODS will resolve the duplicate records becauseof overwrite mode and only send changes or new to the cube - you won't get double adding anywhere in ODS or the cube

Hi Kiran..

If u u make it red for all the requests which was till PSA.. then the next delta will activate.. int he ODS.. but .. the source system wont send the all the lost delta data with the new delta...

just do an Full repaire request for all the selection condtisons.. then there wont be any problem.. and then next delta will also run good..

0) make all the request RED which are made till PSA

1) Goto the IP

2) check for Full update in the Update tab

3) Goto the menu - schedular of the IP and select the repair full request

4) check mark the indicater for the FULL REPAIRE REQUEST

this shud solve the problem...
