Hi Friends,

I Installed NW200s in my laptop.

I am very new to KM and C.

I read the all fundamentals of the KM and C.

I want to know what are all he first steps to configure the KM and C

What are all the Roles do we need to assign to the user to achive.

Let me know some scenarios and how to achive that.

I need to get hands on experience on practical knowledge.

Thanks

Mukesh

Hi,

First thing I want to tell is KMC is a separate installation for portal server. Once installaed, it is ready for use. If you want to use features of KMC, you will configure those tasks separately. For example, creating Quick Poll, you have steps to do. Check on how-to guides for different configurations.

Hi Harini

Thanks for you reply.

Please let me know if you have any docs or real time example to achive.

I have one realtime example like i have local server and i want to display the docs stored in the one folder in the portal.

Please let me know how to achive this task in the KM.

One more calrification, I thinks NW2004s comes with default KM instalation right.

Thanks

Hi,

I don't have any application or docs as such. Anyway forums are open whenever you have doubt about any implementation. Feel free to post your questions here. And ya.. I think 2004S comes with default KM. Didn't see you mention 2004s in your first question.

Hello,

The NW2004s does come with KM pre-installed. So you should be ready to use KM right after the installation of NW2004s.

You can access various repositories (and their folders) from Content Administration - KM Content. You can use the folder /documents/Public Documents as a start.

Hope this helps.
