Fiori Elements Overview Page OVP - How to configure Dynamic Page variant?

The Fiori Design Guidelines give a very detailed description of the Overview Page. Unfortunately I am unable to find as detailed a description of how to actually implement it, there are a few blogs etc... so the basics are covered but in particular I am interested to know how you can control the Dynamic Page Variants that are described in the design guidelines. For example how do you configure the OVP to use Variant 3 (No Header):

Can anyone shed some light on this? Are there some properties in the "sap.ovp" section of the manifest.json that can be used?
