Find workbook after deleting role

Hi all,

someone deleted roles in our system to which where BEx workbooks assigned.

Is there any way to open the workbooks and reassign them to another role?

I know the workbook GUID and I could see the wokbooks in metadata repository.

Is there any special program that you know?

I only found RSWB_ROLES_REORG, but there I could find the workbook and delete it only.

To open the workbook you can set it as a 'favorite', and then you can open and save it in a role. To save a workbook as a favorite, run FM RSBB_WORKBOOK_TREE_SAVE in SE37, specify workbook GUID and Text in the next screen and execute. You will now see it in your favorite.

Hi,

You can assign the workbook directly to a role usign the transaction PFCG: Admin Roles. In the menu tab you can insert the workbooks directly ( + Report > BW Report) with the workbook uid.
