File to R/3 scenario

Hi Experts,

Can anybody help me with below scenario..

I am getting bunch of files from source (all file structures are same..and they have file name pattern like INPUT*.TXT).I have to collect all files for every 10 minutes and have to make one call to R/3 and write all the files.Please suggest me best approach..

Hi Gowri

no need to use BPM. Instead use message packaging

Hi,

If you need to collect files in PI and wait for 10 mins before transformation, use BPM collect and split pattern.

Thanks for reply..Collect patern is ok..why do I need split?

How should I send data to R/3 (RFC or PROXY)?

Could you please be more specific about BPM steps?

Your BPM design would be similar to Time Dependent Loop mentioned in this:

How should I send data to R/3 (RFC or PROXY)?

If PROXY is supported by the SAP ECC system then use PROXY....what have been suggested to the client?
