File Name in Sender and Receiver channel File Adapter

Hi Experts ,

I am trying to configure channel in File adapter and my file name will be given * I want my target system to have same file name as in the source directory . I used ASMA and selected File name. I have a doubt about what will be my File name Schema in sender and Receiver channel. and I have taken create in Processing Tab of Receiver Channel as I want the same file to be placed in the Target FTP Folders. Will this work? Find the attachment. Please Help

Will it be ok If I give filename schema as

If you are using 7.5 version PI,

Source filename: .*

Target filename: *.*

Also, use ASMA in both sender and receiver channels.

Its 7.40 version of PI.

I have the same exact requirement and the suggestion here is not working for me. We are on PI7.5. Do I have to write any UDF? BTW, I'm not using any mapping in this case so wondering where would I call the function?
