Hi everyone,

I created a simple Web Service following the tutorial about the TimeWebService exposing a getTime() methode.

Everything compile, PAR file is deployed.

How do I execute it ?

Thanks!

Hi David,

Login your portal as administrator and navigate to

System Administration -> Support -> Support Desk -> Portal Runtime -> SOAP Admin.

Here you can download WSDL of your web service.

You can also call your web service via URL directly - the responce is also WSDL file.

Regards,

Roman.

Hi,

Two solution for you now:

- Either you generate a proxy using a wsdl provided by the framework, see SOAPAdmin console.

- Or you use the EP web service checker included in SAP NW studio to test it.

Best Regards,

Frederic

Hi,

I don't have the EP Web Service...maybe the system guy did not installed it.

The only way I can do it is with WSDL.

What is SOAPAdmin ? Is it on server side ?

WSDL is created with Eclipse ?

Thanks

Hi,

to access SOAPAdmin, you have to log on to your portal with Administrator rights.

-> System Adminstration -> Support -> Portal Runtime -> SOAP Admin and press refresh you will have then the list of available WS in the Portal (wsdl).

Best Regards,

Frederic
