Excel Formatting overwritten on refresh

Dear all,

I am working with Analysis 1.4 with BEx Query in the backend.

After inserting the Bex query output, I change the column header (to appear in 2 lines instead of one) and center the columns. But on refresh, this formatting is overwritten.

Is there any way to retain these format changes?

Regards,

Abhishek Rajan.

One way is to use the 'Convert to Formula' ribbon - then the Excel functions take over

When you refresh the changes should stay

However you do lose the display panel

Thanks you Tammy and Victor. I would try to use the methods suggested. As I understand, there is no straightforward way to retain the formatting.

Thanks and regards,

Abhishek Rajan.

Hi,

other common way would be to get advantage of the AfterRedisplay callback and format those headers with VBA.
