Event Mesh (Integration Suite) service binding not possible

Hi all,

i am following the instructions of SAP Help for enabling the new EMIS (Event Mesh as Integration Suite capability) and would like to do the setup with S/4HANA public cloud as event sender.

I made sure that the following prerequisite is met:
https://help.sap.com/docs/integration-suite/sap-integration-suite/initiating-event-mesh

In the next step where the event message client shall be bind I am facing an Info popup which prevents me from proceeding. The step is described here (number 5):

https://help.sap.com/docs/integration-suite/sap-integration-suite/configure-message-client

The message says: "There are no applications in this space."

Does anyone see the cause of the issue or do I miss any step? I have attached a few screenshots.

Best regards,
Johannes

You need to create a subscription for the Event Mesh application - see screenshot.Screenshot 2024-07-08 at 07.45.55.png

Thanks Ryan for the suggestion. I added the corresponding entitlement and created the subscription of the Event Mesh standard. But i get the same message. I was also wondering why I couldn't find any information in the SAP Help that an additional subscription of Event Mesh is needed. So I am still facing the same issue. I was trying to reproduce the issue in a trial account but recognized that the Event Mesh capability of Integration Suite is not available there. Any other ideas?

@Johannes23 unfortunately I don't have any other advice to give because I had the same issue and it was resolved by subscribing to the EM application. As for the mention of the help... that's a common occurrence for key information to be missing IMO.

For future readers: Be careful, don't activate the Event Mesh Subscription (Standard plan) if you use the IS embedded EM (EMIS). The mentioned one is the stand alone EM and it can't coexist with EMIS on the same tenant, afaik.
