ESS and MSS on FIORI ( ERP 6 EHP8 - HANA DB )

Dear All,

We are planning to implement SAP ERP 6 EHP8 with HANA Database mostly all modules. In HCM for ESS MSS we are going for FIORI. We are not implementing Enterprise Portal.

My concern is regarding ESS/MSS.. will FIORI support all the ESS and MSS functionalities from applying and approving leave requests, sick leave,business trip, ( etc....)

hi,

It is possible to Implement ESS MSS on FIORI without Enterprise Portal. If you are using SAP UI5 services then there is no dependency on Enterprise Portal.

However, you will be able to use only those services which are available as a FIORI App. You can refer below link to get list of HCM Apps.

There are certain services which are in WebDynpro ABAP like, Advanced Claim, Income Tax projection Statement, FORM 16, E-separation, IT declaration, etc will not be available on FIORI.
