Hi,
Am getting the following errors when trying to activate enable to life and work events.
When I try to imoprted objects,
I am able to successfully select and release the processes
1) change 'employement status'
2) 'Divorce' 'Marriage'
3) 'My First Days'
4) 'Terminate employement'.
But I am not able to release the processes 'Benefits' 'Birth/Adoptation'. I released these processes from the folder 'Life and Work events - US'. I am not able to release any processes from 'Life and Work events' folder. I released/trying to release the processes from workset guided procedures --> administration --> Transport --> Manage impoprted Objects
Why am I not able to release the benefits and birth/adoption services?
Issue 2
For the released processes I went to Design time and initiated the processes( my first days etc). Then I went to life and work events for the employee( through ESS). I shows me the smae screen it showd me before I did all these activities. It shows me the initiate process screen with an error message at the bottom saying "Cannot retrieve process template: No active version of the given development object exists".
I went to the backend and saw that the resource 'EMPLOYEE_LIFEWORK_FIRSTDAYS_SERVICE' is assigned the follwoing URL parameters
"process.template.id=CE140F51C11711D9824C000BCD45EE55&process.autostart=true".
Not sure why I am getting the error "Cannot retrieve process template: No active version of the given development object exists".
Appreciate any inputs on the same.
regards
Sam
Request clarification before answering.
I found SAP note '929353. This lets the iView select the correct process template. But my core problem remains. When I click a LWE like 'my first days' it takes me initiate process screen third step 'Edit Roles' screen.
Appreciate any help
regards
Sam

Hi Sam,
This happens because, you have not assigned the default roles to the processes. This is an important step as this will ensure that the process is started without the user having to assign users who have will administer and oversee the execution of the process.
I will send u the document on how to asign the default roles to the process to ur email. It svery simple.
