Error while downloading data Using RSCRM_BAPI

Hi Folks,

I am getting the below mentioned error message while downloading the data from BW report to csv file using RSCRM_BAPI.

Can anyone help on this error ?

Internal error in method CHECK_TABLE_NAME (RSCRMBW_EX_NAMESPACE_GET)

Hi,

Or you can use technical names starting with Y as well. But if you try to start your technical names apart from Z and Y, SAP will give you the namespace error.

I guess you have used table option.. and you might have given the table name not starting with 'Z'.. Can you make sure you give the table name starting with 'Z'.

thanks for ur quick reply. I tried with both table and CSv options..

here can we any name for Technical name of Extract ?

and path directory details ?

If i select Table option its asking for table name of extract ..which name should i give and where this table will be maintained ?

In service.sap.com/bw, goto Media Library -> HOW TO Guides -> Guide List SAP BW 2.x -> How to .... RSCRM_BAPI'.

Yes, you can give any technical name for extract..give appserver directory path..and filename..

give tablename starting with Z*.

Hi,

I have tried in the same way and also name space with Y.

but couldn come out of this. the same error its listing.

here things i hv given before executing:

table name of extract : Zdownload

file name: zdownload.csv

path:app dir name

and execute......

can u give some more info.

I also tried to use this t-code. but this has lots of restrictions..and its not recommended to use this t-code for complex queries.There are OSS NOtes out there for restrictions for this t-code.

I got to know from other forums on SDN that there is other RSCRMBW_REPORT FM. which is better to use. but not able to use it... there is specific way for that FM. If you try that and if it works for you please let me also know.
