Hello,

I'm getting the error "The selected space does not support provisioning data lake instances" when trying to create a data lake instance. What's the issue?

Regards,

Michael

Hi Michael,

What region/cloud provider is being used?

Is the relational-data-lake entitlement assigned to the entity (subaccount)?

Hi Denys,
Thanks for support.
I'm using AWS on US East (VA).
I'm using relational-data-lake-free entitlement and not relational-data-lake. Could it be the reason of the issue?

Will ask around.

Hi - if you're using the "free tier" plans, be sure you have all 3: hana-free, relational-data-lake-free, and hana-cloud-connection-free. I do recall this happening in an earlier version of the software but it was corrected with recent tooling updates.

Correct answer

Issue solved by adding service plans relational-data-lake-td and hana to the subaccount.
