Error in SAP BPC EPM - "The given key was not present in the dictionary"

Hello all,

In BPC EPM Add-in am facing the below issues:

1. On double clicking the context member (time) am not getting the popup to select the time (I have checked reinstalling EPM add-in but no use, Checked other add-in in the Excel)

2. On clicking on dimension in Row/Column axis in EPM pane am getting the below error. Found no proper solutions in the forum.

Any assistance to help resolve the problem will be appreciated.

EPM - Version 10.0 SP 31 Patch 1. Net 4.5 x64 (Build 10054)

I am the only one facing this kind of problem for all models (reports, input forms). Please assist.

I recommend you to completely remove EPM, delete EPM folder and then install it again!

Hi Vadim, Thanks for your response. I reinstalled only EPM many times and performed other actions but still was facing the same problem. Finally I did reinstallation of OS and then installed EPM add in.

Now the issue is resolved. Thanks! 🙂

For doing testing, while selecting the time, the pop up is not displayed. And am facing this issue for all models and reports. I am not sure whether there is issue with general setting where this issue is faced by only me.

Hi Vadim, Only am facing this issue in all the reports, whereas they are working fine for other people. I think this problem is in my local system but not sure on how to resolve this. I tried these steps but no success on it.

1. Run UJA_REFRESH_DIM_CACHE program in SE38 so that dimension will get refresh.

2. Clear metadata cache and restarted excel

3. Reinstalled EPM add-in

I have attached log found in EPM Add in. Please assist.

Please, never use "Insert File" instead of correct "Insert Image"! Hard to read!
