Error in MSS$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE

Hi experts,

I have got following error when trying to access MSS pages.$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)

Previously, we were be able to access this page fine without problem. Recently, they come up with errors.

I have tried following to investigate:-

1. Assign SAP_ALL to test user but it does not help

2. After I tested JCo connection, the JCo connection has positive test result

thus I am really wonder why it has error on MSS page.

It is clearly authrozation problem try recreating JCO'sagain with user id and password and test it

I have tried but test/ping/preview when I test JCo connection does work.

But when I tried to call the MSS page, the error is still there.

Kindly advise some other solutions.

like Krishna said this is a username / password problem. Can you doublecheck that

  • the iView is using the right JCo connection (which system is this iView using?, is the JCo connection for this system working)

  • is the user which you want to connect to from the portal locked in the backend? is SSO to the backend working?

Maybe there is some other information in the log files which provide some more insight?
