Error during installation of SAP Solution Manager 7.1

Dear All,

I am installing SAP Solution MAnager 7.1 on Windows 2003 64bit.

I have downloaded all the relevant media and given proper path during installation process. SAPInst has also not thrown any error. During this path selection SAPInst again asking for kernel NW 7.20. I have already given path for the same during earlier selection.  Now again when I give the path it throw error as per attached screen shot.

Dear Nirav,

The solman Inst asking for the SL Controller.

• DVD: 51042616_9

label. ASC SAP:AKK:720:DVD_KERNEL:SAP Kernel 7.20:Dxxxxxxxx:*:D51042616

• Download the DVD & unzip. you can find the Label.ASC (SAP:SAPLUP:700:*:*:*) in  Data Units > SL_Controller_700 folder.

Please mark it as a Correct answer if your Problem is solved.

Hi Nirav,

I have faced similar kind of issue ( however my OS is Linux and DB Oracle).Please see the bellow screenshot

That means you have to enter five kernel related path

--  K_720_U_<OS>  ( actual kernel )

--  SL_CONTROLLER_700

-- SL_CONTROLLER_720

-- UM_USER_DBINDEP

-- UM_USER_ENV_<DB>

You can download all from same location from where you downloaded Kernel DVD.
