When I was trying to compress, with no marker update, the Inventory management InfoCube (0IC_C03), the load failed and the following error message showed up.
did you check the oss notes 834829, 708183 and 784503. They might be of some help even if they don't match your error description. If it doesn't help I would create a oss message.
