Hi,

I created an iView using MS VS 2003 and deployed a PAR file - if I want to import it to the portal, do I have to create EPA file? And how should this be done?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Tomas,

You can create a epa file by going to

System Administration->Transport->Export.

Create a Transport package which will in turn generate a epa file.

You can then Import this epa file.

Hi Vivek,

my question should really be: how to import a PAR file?

Thanks for help.

You can import a par file by going to Java developmnent role, if you have imported the business package.

Or else goto

http://abs.server.com:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/portalanywhere.default

You can upload the par file from the above url.

Hi Tomas,

To import a PAR file, goto System Administration-Support-Portal runtime-Administration Console and then upload the PAR file. that will get stored in PCD.

Hello,

I'm trying to import an EPA file, the PDK SP2, and I can't do it from the Administration Console, because it allows only PAR file.

Where can I import my EPA file ?

Thanks.
