EP to BW SSO does not work for BW Report iView

Former Member

I can't get SSO to work for BW Report iViews. Each time I hit the iView I am prompted for the userid/password. After I enter the credentials, the iView renders correctly.

I created an SAP Transaction iView using the same system and the SSO works just fine.

I have read several forum discussions and blogs, but I still have not found the solution. Any suggests would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Add your BW system domain to trusted site in IE (e.g *.mybw.com )

The problem was caused by the BW FQDN being in a different then the EP FQDN.

Example:

BW Server Path: bwserver.dom.nan

EP Server Path: sap.mycompany.com

Once I changed the path of one to be in other one's domain it worked.

BW Server Path: bw.mycompany.com

EP Server Path: sap.mycompany.com
