EP Colloboration Room Error

Hi All,

We are running EP6.0 SP9 (SR1) and have installed the content management and collaboration module successfully. As Collaboration Room admin, I created a collab room and it works fine but when I try to log into that collab room ( as an end user - with collaboration role),I get the following error:

Portal Runtime Error

"An exception occurred while processing a request for :

iView : pcd:portal_content/com.sap.ip.collaboration/Rooms/603e2991-8450-2710-28b3-985ed600d2e7/workset/com.sap.netweaver.coll.TeamRoomOverview/RoomQuickLaunch

Component Name : null

Page could not create the iView.

See the details for the exception ID in the log file ".

I get that error on all the iviews.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Note 792370 solves the problem:

We need to define excecution permission for the group EVERYONE on the folder in which the room worksets are stored.

In the PCD, navigate to Portal Content / com.sap.ip.collaboration / Rooms. Edit the "Assigned Permissions" and flag the checkbox in the column "End User" for the row "Everyone". Now the rooms will work as supposed.

Hi Rizwan, hi Elvez,

did you patch to P3 for SP9?

Maybe also to SP10 / P1?

I installed NW04 SR1 (SP9) directly on Solaris Sparc 5.9 / MaxDB 7.50 Build 18.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to install SP10/P1 on my server
