Enhance Customer Return Notification in SAP ByDesign

Hi,

I have a requirement to enhance the New Customer Return Notification in SAP ByDesign. Currently standard does not allow to change the Ship-To location in the transaction. However, the expectation of my requirement is to change the Ship-to location to a specific value. I checked the repository browser for customer returns business objects enhancement options however, I didn't find any. Is there any other way to enhance the Customer Return Notification.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Hi Geet,

Yes, unfortunately root node is not extensible. But Items node can extend. May be you just add extension field in item node and put some logic to get as you required.

Thanks for your quick response. I tried to extend the "InboundDeliveryRequest" BO, looks like that it is not extendable either. Here is the error that I am getting while I am trying to extend the same.

Error - Node 'Root' of business object 'InboundDeliveryRequest' is unknown or not extendable

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Try to enhance the BO "InboundDeliveryRequest".
