Praveen i have not followed any Link what you has given??

My question is i want to run Enterprise portal by using HTTPS protocol.How to activate HTTPS protocol.

When i am giving the below URL portal is working fine

http://host: port/irj/portal

when i am giving the below URL portal is not working .

https://host:port+1/irj/portal

my problem is we are able to access our Developement portal with the help of HTTP protocol but while accessing portal with the help of HTTPS protocol , i am getting the error( page cannot be displayed).

Hi,

Did you follow the links I gave you and enabled SSL?

Look for logfiles, if some thing is logged there.

Also let me know which link you followed to configure SSL and your WebAS version and if it is javastack or not.

So you should give me max information, so that I can help you.

Give me step by step what you did.

Hi,

If you have Sap Webdispatcher in your portal landscape then the SSL should be configured on SAP Web Dispatcher, follow the link to configure SSL for Web Dispatcher:

If you dont have SAP Webdispatcher, then you should configure SSL directly on your WebAS, follow this:

The above documents explain you step by step to configure SSL, I too did it using them. So go ahead and just do it.

Is your WebAS with ABAP stack, if so use this:

Hi subash nalivela ,

Logon to the Visual Administrator in Server.

Path C://<inst No>Admin/go.bat

then navigate Cluster->server->services->SSL Provider

in this part we can enable SSL to Portal.
