Embedded component is not visible in IPad.

Hi Experts,

I have created custom solution in SAP cloud application studio and created custom business object with embedded component on it.

1. Binded embedded component to the Service Ticket overview screen.
2. I can able to see the embedded on the service ticket overview screen in browser.
3. But not able to see the embedded component in the IPad(Tablet) even though i have given the Tags for it as Tablet.

I have tried with tags as All Devices but no success.

Please help me in this issue.

Hi Horst,

Thanks for the response.

I have given the Tags for device as Tablet as you can see in the below snap.

Embedded component is visible in browser but not in IPad app(cloud for customer Ext).

Hi Siraj,

Does the BO you have built the EC on have any other screens? It may be a user access issue that only affects the ipad.

Could you check if Device tag is set in Service Request UI also?

Could you also try to configure only for tablet and recheck this issue in UI designer?

Hi Anant,

Yes I have done the same thing but no success.

But I have done the same with different Embedded component and attached it to the opportunity overview screen and its working fine in IPad is this issue is specific to service ticket screen?

Thanks for the response.

I have done the Tagging for Device Tablet but its not working.

I have followed same process for another EC and attached it to the Opportunity screen and its working fine in IPad is this issue is specific to service ticket screen?

Hello Siraj,

Okay, that's fine.

Do you see the tab in which the EC should appear at all?
It is possible to disable some tabs for the iPad. :-0
