ECC 5.0 IDES - EndFastLoad -Error

Hi

does anyone know, what this error may cause? I attempt to install DB instance for ECC 5.0 IDES and get this message and the installation process is stopped.

(IMP) INFO: EndFastLoad failed with <2: Bulk-copy commit unsuccessful>(IMP) ERROR: EndFastload: rc = 2

(IMP) INFO: ExeFastLoad failed with <2: BCP Commit failed>(IMP) ERROR: ExeFastload: rc = 2

Please help!

Hi Anand,

sorry but i have not saved the old sapinst.log and setup all the log-files.

I updated the r3load.exe on the sap instance and started the installation process again. It has been running for 3 hours. I think it was the the solution.

Hi David,

You can get the latest version of r3load.exe from

http://service.sap.com/swdc -> support packages and

patches -> additional components ->SAP Kernel -> <os> and <db> dependent. Use the new file in your kernel directory.

Sorry for my late answer.

Firstly, thanks for your help.

I've just finished the installation but it has failed again. I think this is for the virtual server machine.

Anyway, this virtual server is not definitive, so I'm going to wait for the new machines.
