Hi,

My company has a BO XI 3.0 platform and I'm asking myself few questions about Crystal report integration to this platform:

1) Is it possible to store Crystal Report in the BO Server when I only work with CR 2008, or I need the product Crystal report server ?

2-3) if I store Crystal Reports reports in the BO Server (Format of these reports: normal Crystal report format), can other users who haven't Crystal Report Rich client in their computer view this reports threw Iview? If not, must they install the Crystal Report viewer?

Thank you very much!

1. Yes, you can use CR 2008 for design and then BO XI to store and view your reports. Thus you do not need the Crystal Reports server.

2. Yes, that is the idea with BO XI. BO XI is a portal that allows you to store reports, create user and allow the users to view your reports no matter what format it is. Obviously you have to check the rendering format because you can allow the user to view it java, DHTML, HTML and JavaScript format. The best view, my opinion, is java view.

Good luck.
