Hi,

Standard DTP:

You use the data transfer process (DTP) for real-time data acquisition to transfer data to the DataStore object from the PSA. In the DataStore object, the data is available for use in reporting.

Direct Access DTP:

You use a data transfer process for direct access to access the data in an InfoProvider directly.

You have used transformations to define the data flow between the source and target object.

You can use the data transfer process to access data directly.

Error DTP:

The error DTP uses the full update mode to extract data from the error stack (in this case, the source of the DTP) and transfer it to the target that you have already defined in the data transfer process.

You create an error DTP for an active data transfer process on the Update tab page. You run it directly in the background or include it in a process chain so that you can schedule it regularly in the context of your process chain

RDA DTP:

As a precondition for the creation of IP for RDA, we must choose DTP as 'DTP for Real-time data acquisition' with the definition of DTP. As with the definition of IP, the qualification of DTP mostly serves the purpose of modifying request handling.A precondition for having a DTP for RDA is that, we must have at least one DSO as data target & one data source to provide data

Hi Venkatesh,

There are only three types of DTP.

1. standard DTP

2. Direct access DTP

3. Error DTP

Standard DTP:

You use the data transfer process (DTP) for real-time data acquisition to transfer data to the DSO from the PSA. In the DataStore object, the data is available for use in reporting.

Direct Access DTP:

You use a data transfer process for direct access to access the data in an InfoProvider directly(Virtual provider).

RDA-->Real time data acquisition (so that is standard DTP only)
