khaja had it right

There is not need to create a different DTP for your initial and Delta Infopackages. There is no need for a second DTP even if you decide to create and use a full update Infopackage. The DTP is basically the process that handles the transfer of DATA from the PSA to your Data Target. Thus you create one DTP and it is Irrelevant what type of Infopackage you intend to associate with it.

Hi Anand,

Create only 1 DTP.. No need of two DTPS's...

In BI7 u have only full and Delta... there is no Init in DTP... U have Full DTP and Delta DTP....

But is suggested to create delta DTP... Because after every full load u have to delete the data in PSA.....

Assign points if it helps

Hi Anand,

In BI 7,DTP supports request dependant Delta mechanism. So no initdelta is required in BI 7.0.

You can do full load then subsequent deltas u can do........

Hope this is helpful...
