I changed a rule in my dtp.
after activating the dtp, the dtp is just set to the old version. therefor my rule has not been changed.
how ot activate it?
Hi!
I also had this problem several times (change of path to local file). This behaves to be a bug in NW2004S and we are all looking for a patch. The work-around is the following:
1. Do your changes in the DTP
2. Save and activate the changes
3. Leave the BW System including log out (This is no joke!!!)
4. Log in new to the BW System
5. Look into the DTP and you will see that your changes have been saved.
Hope I could help you.

Percy

Hi,
Are you writing a characteristic routine ? If so after saving are you clicking on transfer values?
If not please click on transfer values button.

1. I am in change modus -> I see my routine.
2. I press activate.
3. I return /n
4. asking if i wanna leave without saving changes I press yes
5. starting rsa1
6. transformation is active -> but routine is not there
7. go in change mode -> routine is there again.
i just can't get the changed version to be active ...
If you have activated transformation properly it should not ask
asking if i wanna leave without saving changes I press yes
By the way answer to this should be NO.
How are you activaing ??
First do a "check" to see if everything is fine in transformation.
