DSO to DSO Loading

Hello Friends,

I recently heard a question from my friend regarding DSO to DSO loading.

If we do a Init from DSO "A"(Source) to DSO "B"(Target), and then I run a Full update again from DSO "A" to DSO "B". What happens to the data in the Target DSO? How & Why the data is resulted in that manner?

No selection condition involved & its an standard DSO.

Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks

Regards

Hi,

If we do a full load instead to full repair after init, when you try to load the next delta it will not get loaded.

Hi,

Delta Loads are not possible after FULL loads when we are loding data into ODS/DSO as it sdoesn't support at all.

Chk the below link

Basically doing a full repair provies you that your delta is not corrupted and at the same time reapair request can be loaded.

But after the init if you do a full , it will not let you do load delta.

Hope this clears you , also this concept is at many places in SDN , please perform a search for full repair and delta.
