Hey BI Gurus..
I have created a DSO ..but I dont understand where do we select our datasource ...I mean how in BW 3.5 we used to select the infosource from Left window pane and all the char and key figs used to be in the ODS ....My question is where do we select the our Datasource for our DSO...
Please help
will assifgn points
I hope you have replicated datasource as 7.0 and not 3.x.
new NW2004s Data flow
R/3---->PSA only (using Infopackage) for all the Loads -Mandatory
PSA -
>ODS/Cube -->load using DTP ,create transformation first
no Datamart architecture in NW2004s
so ODS -
>Cube load using DTP ,creating transformation first
Once loaded to PSA in DTP you have the option of FULL or DELTA ,full loads all the data from PSA and DELTA loads only the last load of PSA.

Pre-requisite-
You have used transformations to define the data flow between the source and target object.

Heah Sri, Thanks Bro , well lots of design complexities when it comes to Global BW implementations in Blue printing/requirement phase and meetings after meetings...
But I see you rocking ,so I kind a feel good and relaxed ..at times its good to be other side just watching Experts like you replying and Ravi as well,as am still Novice and Naive in this arena.
Hope it Helps

right click - create transformations - source of transformation would be ur datasource. Ofcourse you need to have a 7.0 datasourceRSDS. If you have a 3.x DS, then there is nothing different to do than what we used to do in 3.5.
