DSN to an Excel file on AIX server

Hi,

We are on BO 4.1 sp6, and the BO server is installed on AIX. I have to create a Universe from Excel file.

How do I check the driver manager on AIX, for creating a DSN to Excel file.

What should be the parameters to be put on odbc.ini file for the dsn, and is there any specific location to put the Excel file?

Hi

It's Unix, not Windows, you can't connect to Excel.

Is there any other way to create Universe from excel in my case? Can I load data in a table and transport to some database to use?
